We really enjoyed the Relationship Skills classes. Mary really put things into perspective for both of us. We are still having our date night, at least every two weeks if not weekly. Running a business and working all day and going home from work with your significant other was really a challenge. After taking that class and meeting with you on a one to one basis we understood how to separate work from marriage. It can still be a struggle at times but I think we both see when we are starting to get off track and steer ourselves back on track. Thank you so much, we do recommend this class to anyone that has either gotten bored with one another, feels like the excitement has been lost or are empty nesters. It really makes you feel good to know that the love between one another is really not lost.

"Mary Pepper is a high energy instructor who keeps her classes lively. I noticed how much more thoughtful my husband and I have been in our communication with each other since attending Mary's "relationship skills" program. It really woke us up to things we had been taking for granted or not attending to at all in our marriage. It definitely brought us closer together. It's always worth getting a tune-up on your relationship."

My boyfriend and I heard about 'Healthy Relationships 101' from a co-worker and he 'raved' about the class! We were so excited to attend in hopes of learning more about each other and to fulfill a much healthier and stronger relationship. I am several years older than he is and with both of us being open minded, we wanted to seek advice and reassurance that our relationship could last many years to come! Mary Pepper was amazing! She made everyone very comfortable in class. She was knowledgeable and funny! We enjoyed attending every class and were sad to see them end!

"Mary Pepper brought a warm accepting presence to her work with our parents in her Parenting Classes. She was able to bring a diverse parent community filled with guardians, grandparents and biological parents together, to discover new ways to teach children. Ms. Pepper honored our parents by recognizing that a child's first teacher is a parent. Reluctant parents shared that they were very eager to try new techniques at home and enjoyed the weekly classes."

The staff and kids at our children's home are enjoying greater levels of warmth in the responses between staff and the children. Just as importantly, Mary Pepper's training has created a higher level of nurturing responses between the staff members and between the children. She has touched all levels of our work.

I am writing to give testimony to how the classes I participated in facilitated by Mary Pepper impacted my life. Prior to beginning classes I felt fairly confident in my parenting technique. I had a great upbringing with a very supportive family so I naturally adopted the way I was raised as a way to raise my children. Although tradition and family customs are wonderful for many things, in taking the parenting classes I learned that I can honor those customs and still incorporate my own style as a parent. Spanking was a last resort in my household, as the belief was if all else fails a good spanking would do the trick; however, I learned a better way to discipline. I now discipline with love and see how detrimental spanking can be in parenting my child. Simply incorporating cooperative nurturing parenting in my household has changed the whole atmosphere and tone in which my family lives.
My goal in raising my children is that the choices I make and role that I take as a parent will assist in molding my children into strong, independent, successful and nurturing adults; and I truly believe that the techniques and skills I acquired from having taken parenting classes with Mary will be the key is achieving my goal.
I feel blessed to have been able to receive the education I did through the parenting program. Having received this knowledge while my children are still small has allowed me to make changes that will allow me to give my children the type of childhood and adolescence that they will be happy to reflect on as adults.

The parenting skills that I had before attending Mary's class was slim to none. I now have the ability to nurture my child in many ways. I also have knowledge about children's development and its importance.

I really liked your "relationship skills" classes because it taught us to listen to each other and really hear what the other is saying. Also, the date night commitment is helpful to stay out of the day to day rut that tends to make us take each other for granted. The topics covered helped us to discuss things that we wouldn't have thought of on our own in a healthy way.

We are more sensitive to the importance of our marriage. We are making more time for each other and putting each other first in our everyday lives. Our communication has greatly improved!
Robert W. & Pauline L.
We have a clearer understanding of what a healthy relationship is. We are using the "I" statements more often and it's made a big difference.
Tanya L.
We now have the tools we need to resolve conflicts not continue them or pretend they don't exist.
Jazmine & Cory C.
I have learned to take ownership of my feelings and voice them calmly and with reason. We learned to speak each others love language.
Elaine & Mike C.
We are now more open to discussion and compromise. We have learned valuable tools to resolve conflict.
