Welcome to the Healthy Relationships 101 website! Mary, our Executive Director, has been working with couples, parents and families for more than 21 years. Families are the nucleus of our communities and of our society. Couples who have a stable and secure relationship provide the core and the foundation of a healthy family. In our humanness, we sometimes fall short of our ideal of having the best relationship possible with our spouse, with our children and/or with our co-workers.
Healthy Relationships 101 (HR 101) offers excellent programs that can enhance, enrich and strengthen one's relationships. The programs provide a person with the opportunity to explore and discover their relational and parenting strengths and their potential growth areas. The programs provide opportunities for parents and couples to analyze, evaluate and to apply various strategies, skills and techniques with the special people in their lives.

Professional, Educational Programs Offered in New Mexico:
- The Couple Checkup Relationship Program - This program, designed and created by Dr. David H. Olson, is a research-based, interactive curriculum focused on fostering healthy adult relationships. Each couple takes an in-depth inventory to learn about their strengths and their growth areas. The 6 week curriculum helps couples to strengthen and enrich their relationship. - Marriage (Relationship) Mentoring - With the customized couple mentoring sessions, couples focus on specific relationship topics which are relevant to their lives. The positive outcome of the mentoring session is the ability to have a stronger, healthier and closer relationship with one another. Read more about Mentoring.
- Parents As Leaders - HR 101 uses a research-based, multi-modality curriculum entitled: The Nurturing Parenting® Program. The curriculum, designed and created by Dr. Stephen and Julianna Bavelok, covers a wide range of parenting and interpersonal skills. The 8 to 12 week schedule can be adapted to meet the specific needs of your target audience. Read more about the Parenting Program.
- Parenting Mentoring - Do you have questions about parenting, child development or discipline? Schedule a private mentoring session to discuss your questions, your concerns, and your hopes. Prices are very reasonable.
- Presentations - I can provide educational presentations for workshops, conferences or conventions. For your small or large group, I can teach them about Healthy Communication Skills, Conflict Management Strategies, Healthy Relationships Traits, Parenting Techniques, Managing Feelings etc
- Staff Development/Training - We will work together to develop a plan for efficient and effective staff development/training. The scheduling, the topics and the format are adaptable to the specific needs of your organization.
